Manufacturing Capabilities

Blair can do everything required in-house. Our technical expertise is deep, ranging from all aspects of the sign industry, including neon, precision sheet metal work, vacuum forming, face decorating, and heavy steel fabrication.

Blair's electrical division has 125 electricians on staff nationwide, with capabilities ranging from industrial wiring to fiber-optic installations. Our manufacturing facility for signage is driven by our CAD system to incorporate the most efficient processing in the industry. Blair Fixtures & Millwork can fabricate and supply all types of wood signs and/or molds that are needed in the sign manufacturing process.

Blair manufactures 50,000 channel letters, 150 miles of neon tubing, thousands of cabinets and miles of illuminated awnings a year. Blair has managed very large, rapid turn-around national programs. Our largest rollout to date was 3500 locations manufactured and installed with our own crews, at a rate of 200 per week. Schedules were maintained and customer satisfaction was exceptional.

Blair Fixtures works from a 120,000 square foot plant next door. In addition to 300,000 square feet devoted to our manufacturing, Blair's parent company owns 12 additional facilities that range from 50,000 to 500,000 square feet in our area. We lease these facilities to others, but there is sufficient turn over to have additional square footage available as needed.

Blair Lighting & Distribution is an expert in consolidation and distribution to chain stores. We supply everything from lighting fixtures to sinks to a variety of chain accounts to expedite their construction process. This business is seeing excellent growth supporting the overseas procurement efforts of our customers to ensure domestic product availability.
