Blair Sign provides a wide array of services for chain store accounts in a variety of industries. Through its several divisions and sister companies collectively doing business as The Blair Companies, Blair:

• Fabricates, installs and maintains interior and exterior signs
• Fabricates and installs fixtures and kiosks
• Distributes lighting
• Performs electrical, networking, construction and store maintenance services

Blair Sign Company's sister firm, Blair Electric Service Company, started business in 1951 doing large-scale electrical projects throughout the U.S. and West Indies. In 1974, the sign division was spun off with a few dozen employees and a manufacturing facility.

Over the years we've expanded through several factories and spun off other related businesses such as Blair Fixtures & Millwork and Blair Design & Construction. These related businesses give Blair an unusually diverse mix of employees and a wide range of facilities that can be tapped to gear up for large projects quickly.

We take a long-term, relationship-oriented approach to business. Because of this we have an excellent reputation in the industry. We still have many of our original employees and virtually every customer we have worked with since the beginning.

Company Experience

Blair has successfully completed large projects for a variety of major corporations, including over 5000 pylon signs for British Petroleum, 2000 signs for Bank of America (800 signs in a three-month period), and 4000 signs for Kmart. Most locations generally included three elevations plus Blair controlled all painting and fascia repairs. In 2000, Blair completed the 3600-sign Verizon Wireless re-imaging program as their sole sign vendor in five months.

Blair’s project management team manages the entire signage project from preliminary permit check though the manufacturing and installation process. Coordination and communication with our customers is on a daily basis, summarized by Blair’s Project Managers on status reports that are available in spreadsheet format via e-mail or through our website to provide instant access to pertinent project information. Schedules are followed to the letter and many special needs can be accommodated.

All signage produced by Blair Sign Corporation is Underwriters Laboratories Approved. Virtually all of our work is for large national accounts.
